Macro photography is an interesting endeavour that involves indulging in capturing photographs, using a specific kind of lens – the Macro lens. Before we start discussing Macro photography, it’s a good idea to understand the Macro lens specifically and learn to differentiate it from a non-macro lens.
Let’s begin by understanding another loosely used term, “Close up photography”. First of all, Close up Photography and Macro Photography aren’t necessarily the same. Though Macro photography is usually close up photography, yet close up photography need not involve Macro equipment and lenses at all.
